Sub Badge ResizerOne image to 18, 36 and 72 px.
This free sub badge resizer turns one image into Twitch’s three badge sizes — 18, 36 and 72 px transparent PNGs — and squeezes each under the 25 KB limit with a palette when needed, without uploading anything.

Tips
Badges that read at 18 px
- Start from a simple icon with a thick outline; detail disappears first.
- Make tiers differ by color (bronze, silver, gold), not by small additions.
- Leave a pixel or two of padding so the badge doesn’t touch the edge.
- Check the 18 px preview here before uploading — that’s the size chat shows.
Upload
Where they go
Creator Dashboard → Viewer Rewards → Subscriptions → Loyalty Badges. Upload all three sizes per tier so you control how the smallest one looks.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What sizes are Twitch sub badges?
18×18, 36×36 and 72×72 px transparent PNGs, each under 25 KB.
What if my badge is over 25 KB?
The tool re-encodes it as a palette PNG with 256, 128, 64 or 32 colors until it fits, and shows which.
Can I use a JPG?
Yes, but JPG has no transparency, so the badge will have a background box. Use a transparent PNG when you can.
Does it work for bits badges?
Yes, bits badges use the same three sizes.
Is my image uploaded?
No. It stays in your browser.
Can it make channel points icons?
Channel points icons are 28/56/112; use the Twitch emote resizer’s static PNGs for those.
